A bit about me
Matt Crossland, integrated designer and creative lead
If it’s a CV you’re looking for, you could take a look at my LinkedIn page and if you have any questions (or simply want to say hi) then send me an email.
Hey, I’m Matt and this is my design portfolio. I hope you’ve managed to have a good look through it and found it both interesting and insightful. I’m a designer of some 14 years experience. Here’s a little bit about it.
After my studies I worked in a small print business in Leeds and learned the ins and outs of the print industry. I also ran their e-commerce system, giving me a great foundation in digital. I was invited to Montreal to talk with some of the US teams, helping them set up their own e-commerce platforms.
My time at Harrods
From there I moved to the big smoke, freelanced for a while and ended up working with Harrods. After a while they offered me a full-time position, which I took, and I stayed for five years. I worked with many of the world’s greatest luxury brands and worked my way up to Lead Designer. I managed their CRM, Marketing and Advertising creative team. We produced beautiful event branding, marketing campaigns and our projects saw increased year-on-year successes.
Over the last year
I left Harrods to freelance again but ended up doing a maternity cover at organic food specialist, Abel & Cole, as Head of Creative. There I managed the creative output of a team of 12 talented designers, writers and content producers. I finished there earlier in 2018.
I’m freelance again so if you’d like to work together on some beautiful, effective, creative projects, I’d love to hear from you.
